The characters for my Black Ops Chronicles series are based on real people I met while working in Mexico and the Caribbean. Max and Levi are former CIA officers in real life, and Tess was formerly on the run from a murderer. They are aware of their roles in the books and were a tremendous help to me in vetting the story. However, as I have promised not to reveal their true identities, I can’t use genuine photos. So I had to come up with pictures of models to represent them.
